Beyond kegels.

The Pelvic Health Collective is a platform to elevate your pelvic health by delivering honest and up-to date information through workshops and self-paced online programs. We’ll cover so much more, beyond kegels.

Hi, I’m Tryna.

I’m so glad you’re here!

Hi, I’m Tryna, creator of the Pelvic Health Collective and a licensed physiotherapist living and working in Brandon, MB for the last 13+ years. I work exclusively with a vulva owning pelvic health clientele.

I love to talk to women. Specifically, about all things pelvic health from bladder & bowel health, to sexual function, and pelvic floor + core exercise. I see women throughout their life cycle, taking them from menstruation, to pregnancy & postpartum, peri-menopause and beyond.

There are NO silly questions or “TMI” conversations here!

Did you know your brain + breath are the most powerful tools you have in birth to decrease muscle tension and improve your pain tolerance? Learn how to connect them to prepare + protect your pelvic floor for birth!

  • Tryna's workshop was really informative and very useful during my pregnancy & labour. I used her recommended stretches and exercises to help with my pelvic girdle pain. And I swear that her tips for relaxing the pelvic floor during pregnancy and pushing strategies during labour helped me walk away with minimal tearing.

Feel better by doing less.

If you have been wondering how to stop leaking urine, googling “what’s that bulge in my v@gina”, saving the best core + pelvic floor exercise reels, or been told “that’s just a normal part of pregnancy/postpartum/aging…” you can stop. Take a breath. You’re exactly where you need to be to get the pelvic floor information + exercises you deserve. Guess what? It doesn’t involve changing the shape of your body, spending hours at the gym, or doing kegels at every red light.

I have worked with 100’s of women 1:1 in my clinical practice, teaching them simple and effective strategies to alleviate and manage their pelvic floor symptoms whether it’s urine leaks, pelvic girdle pain in pregnancy, ab separation, returning to exercise postpartum, pain with intimacy or living life with pelvic organ prolapse. Here’s a list of who I work with:

  • The female pelvic floor

  • The athletic pelvic floor

  • The pregnant pelvic floor

  • The postpartum pelvic floor

  • The perimenopausal pelvic floor

  • The postmenopausal + beyond pelvic floor

Kind words

  • I attended Tryna’s workshop prior to giving birth to my son and the information she provided me really helped me feel confident and prepared going in to my delivery as a first time mom! An aspect that stuck with me was the use of affirmations during the labour process and leading up to it. I don’t think I would have practised the powerful technique for birth prep, had I not been introduced to it in the workshop.

  • Through Tryna’s workshop I learned key information on different birth positions and left feeling confident advocating for myself in the delivery room. We also practiced how to push and use our breath effectively, which is something I felt was an invaluable skill to walk out with.

  • I took the prenatal pelvic floor workshop virtually with Tryna when I was 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I strongly believe that my positive pregnancy and smooth labour experience was due to the strength training and daily pelvic floor exercises that I did while pregnant. In postpartum, I continue to do some of the exercises recommended by Tryna to keep my pelvic floor flexible and strong for future pregnancies. I would highly recommended taking a prenatal pelvic floor class to any pregnant person.
